Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company has agreed to write off all water bills which were wrongly charged on the people of Skyways in Kabushi constituency in Ndola, amounting to 2-hundred and 38 thousand kwacha.

This follows several interventions by area Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo.

Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company Director of Engineering, Bernard Phiri has confirmed, after being engaged by Mr. Lusambo at a meeting in Ndola.

ZANIS Reports that, Mr. Phiri said the water utility firm has compiled a list of properties which were being billed wrongly.

He said within seven days, the company will write off all the bills which saw over 56 households receiving monthly water bills for the service which Kafubu did not provide.
