Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General Hon Davies Mwila has said that former UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) has been welcomed back to the PF following his resignation fron the Opposition Party yesterda, 23rd April 2019.

Hon Mwila has said that as per procedure, his Office will now await the Official communication from Hon Mwamba for the record at the Party Headquarters.

He has since encouraged the former UPND Vice President to feel at home and work with the structures as he indicated when he was received by Member of the Central Committee and Lusaka Province Party Chairman Mr. Paul Moonga at the Party Secretariat yesterday.

The Secretary General has further dismissed social media reports alleging that the top Party officials shunned welcoming Hon Mwamba, insisting that MCC Moonga is a very Senior member of the Party who was delegated to welcome the former UPND Vice President at short notice.
