A 34-YEAR-OLD man of Mansa wants his boss to buy him a new mattress and beddings because he cannot use the ones his senior used to commit adultery with his wife. Justine Mwansa, who is seeking compensation for adultery from Chisala Ntambo, told the Local Court how the defendant gave his wife bundles of fish and later allegedly slept with her.
Mwansa wants the court to order his boss to buy him new beddings. Mwansa said problems started when he lost his employment and started work at a farm.
He said whilst at the farm, his boss, Ntambo, offered him a house and his wife only visited him on weekends.
“One day, my wife visited me at the farm where I was working. My boss never used to give me food but I was shocked when he brought bundles of fish and gave my wife,” he said.
“He later invited her to his house so that she could go and get cooking oil to cook the relish,” he said.
Mwansa said his wife, whom he had married for 11 years, would wait for him and their children to finish eating and then go and get relish from his boss.
“My boss used to give my wife bundles of fish and would sleep with her. He became so jealous of me that he chased me out of employment,” he narrated.
Mwansa said one day, he went to visit his wife and when he entered the living room, he found his boss and his wife cuddling.
He said his boss rented an expensive house for his wife and he never used to sleep at the farm and only returned in the morning.
And giving testimony in support of Mwansa, a five-year-old boy said Ntambo sacked his father from employment.
The boy said, when he went home with his father unannounced, he found his mother and father’s boss in their sitting room.
“ My mother does not prepare us chicken, but she prepared nshima and chicken for my dad’s boss who sat in our living room. She then threw me and my dad out of the house,” he said.
And Ntambo denied sleeping with Mwansa’s wife and said that there was no way he would sleep with his employee’s wife.
Magistrate Margaret Sakalimba adjourned the matter for judgement.
