Hacker Puts Students On Govt Sponsorship

A witness has told the Lusaka Magistrate Court that an economist, Andrew Mwewa would charge K6, 000 to put students on government sponsorship list after hacking into the University of Zambia data system.

Elijah Mutambo says he discovered this after he contacted Mwewa on phone, pretending to have a younger brother who needed government sponsorship.

In this matter Mwewa is facing two counts of unauthorized access to intercept or access University of Zambia Data using parliament IP address.

An Information Processing System is a unique string of numbers that identifies each computer using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network.
