Some Patriotic Front youths in Lusaka are demanding the removal of Party Secretary General Davies Mwila with immediate effect, alleging that he has failed to run the party.

They have since given Mr. Mwila a 48 hour ultimatum to resign or risk being hounded out of office.

Leader of the Youth Wing advocating for the removal of Mr. Mwila, Julius Komaki says Mr. Mwila has failed to run the party and he is at the centre of confusion.

But PF Secretary General Davies Mwila says the youths are disgruntled and only hired to cause confusion.

He spoke to diamond TV news in a telephone interview.
