High Court Throws Out PF Petition, Upholds UPND Sesheke Win

Lusaka High court judge, Justice Getrude Chawatama has thrown out the PF petition to have Sesheke parliamentary seat won by UPND nullified.

Chawatama in her judgment stated that there is no evidence to prove that PF won the election.

Lungu wanted Sesheke parliamentary seat at all costs hence planning to even take it by hook or crook but the High court has said no.

UPND won with over 8, 000 votes whereas PF got 3, 000 votes only during the by-election.

She says will of the people of Sesheke was done by voting UPND.

Justice upheld. We won Chilanga after someone was arrested and seat declared vacant, and so did we in western province. So, why can’t we accept that UPND beat us clean in Sesheke? Well, it might not have been clean considering the bees and the lightening saga, but we lost anyways. Win some, loose some (seats).
