Students at Evelyn Hone College yesterday woke up to a rude shock when they found a foetus dumped in a bin outside one of the hostels. Deputy Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga confirmed the incident and said investigations have been instituted. Witnesses say the foetus must have been dumped in the early hours of yesterday.

They said it was not clear if this was done by an Evelyn Hone student or one from the neighbouring institutions, National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) and Zambia Institute of Accountancy Studies (ZCAS), or by a passer-by. Meanwhile, UTH says the first born of the recently delivered quadruplets has been discharged from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
