Zambian DNA is elated that the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU)’s latest report confirms that the ruling PF will win the 2021 polls.

The EIU’s latest forecast for Zambia (dated June 12th 2019) states that President Edgar Lungu remains the favourite candidate to retain power in 2021.

Whilst the report cited some economic challenges, it concludes that President Lungu has demonstrated a tacit commitment to improve the Zambians’ welfare.

Indeed, President Lungu has demonstrated that he has a heart and vision for the country as he is empowering women, youth, and the vulnerable people and addressing many critical issues affecting Zambians.

However, even if the UPND-led alliance mounted an aggressive ‘paint-President Lungu black’ campaign, they will still lose the 2021 polls.

It’s abundantly clear that the UPND-led alliance cannot be trusted to lead the country as they have lamentably failed to share their vision and proved that they are clueless.

In view of the foregoing, we strongly urge Zambians to have confidence in President Lungu as he means well for the country, and lend the UPND-led Alliance leaders a deaf ear.
