National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Chishimba Kambwili’s recent verbal attack on President Edgar Lungu is not only unfortunate, malicious and unfounded, but also the worst disrespect emanating from the former Information and Broadcasting Services Minister.

Zambian DNA is shocked that Mr. Kambwili has continued to use uncouth and vulgar language against President Lungu, and taken turns to insult Zambians’ collective intelligence.

What is most appalling is the honourable former Minister’s insults showered on Zambians who gave President Lungu the mandate to govern in 2015 and 2016 even though he was appointed by President Lungu as a  Cabinet Minister in both 2015 and 2016 respectively .

President Lungu has proved to be a trust worthy leader who will obviously defeat the UPND-led Alliance’s Hakainde Hichilema in 2021 even if he picks Kambwili as his running –Mate.

Moreover, showering insults on President Lungu and the Zambian people will not make Kambwili the Republican –Vice President, but will instead erode the people’s confidence in the UPND-lead Alliance.
