Police are yet to interrogate Solomon Mubita who broke his lower limbs after jumping from the fly over bridge in his alleged attempt to steal from a moving motor vehicle on Lusaka’s Kafue Road.
Zambia Police Lusaka Province Police Commissioner Nelson Phiri says Zimba will be interrogated and charged accordingly once his condition improves.
On June 28 around 19:00 hours, Mubita is alleged to have jumped from Misisi Foot Bridge on Kafue Road with intent to steal from a moving truck.
He allegedly missed the truck and landed on the tarmac breaking his lower limbs.
Meanwhile, University Teaching Hospital Assistant Public Relations Officer Sepo Mwikisa has confirmed that Mubita is still admitted to UTH.
She adds that Mubita is currently responding well to treatment.
