Body Of One Of The Two Yalelo Staff Who Went Missing On Lake Kariba Found

THE body of one of the two Yalelo Fish Farming Limited employees who drowned on Lake Kariba on Friday has been found. Police spokesperson Esther Katongo said in a statement that Rodney Chilongo’s body was found floating around 06:40 hours yesterday at Lake Kariba Yalelo cages on site seven.

Last week, the Zambia Army was engaged to help find the bodies of Mr Chilongo and Isaac Banda who drowned on Friday around 16:00 hours. Meanwhile, Zambians have been advised against travelling to Nigeria following the deteriorating security in the north-eastern part of that country. Ministry of Home Affairs public relations officer Nephas Chifuta said in a statement that Zambians who want to travel to Nigeria should take necessary precautions.

“The Ministry of Home Affairs advises against all travels to Nigeria. Most attacks, however, occur in the northeast, particularly in Borno and Yobe states,” Mr Chifuta said
