Trade Kings Beverage Plant To Boost Fruit Processing

The 30-million-dollar Trade Kings beverage processing Plant at the Lusaka South Multi Facility Economic Zone -MFEZ- is nearly complete.

Trade Kings Group spokesperson Ernest Mande says the Plant is set to open soon after the remaining 20 percent of the construction is completed.

He says the plant is expected to give fruit farmers a huge market once it becomes operational.

Mr. Mande said this today when Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry Permanent Secretary Kayula Siame visited the Big Tree beverage plant at the Economic Zone.

He also disclosed that Trade Kings is targeting to open a cooking oil processing plant in addition to the beverage plant.

And Mrs. Siame said The Trade Kings beverage plant demonstrates that the national industrial policy has started yielding results with local companies increasing their contribution to economic growth.

Mrs. Siame said the aim of the industrial policy is to support and accelerate industrialization in the country.
