German Consultant Resigns On Construction Of One-Post-Border-Post Between Zambia & Malawi Citing Corruption

A Germany consultant working on the Mwami-Mchinji Border Post in Zambia has resigned from OSBP the company constructing the border citing “careless and corrupt client”.

In his letter of resignation written to Regional Manager Southern Africa, Mr Stayford Kampini Phiri, Holger Katthaus of APM International bemoans catalogues issues such as the alleged lack of international standards, alleged incompetence and what he termed unprofessional behaviour.

He also claimed that tax payer’s money from Europe was being wasted on projects in Africa.

“As a Germany Iam incorruptible”.he claims.

In his letter he ends his rant with racist remarks; “The last 10 weeks in Chipata have made me a realistic racist and every African I’m going to face in future will face it. You are not worth being supported”.

He said he was happy to resign and leave the continent forever.

Statemant by the Germany
The African Development Bank (AfDB) has provided US$7.5 million for the construction of a one-stop border facility at Mwami/Mchinji Border in Chipata as part of the Nacala Corridor development project.

The Mwami/Mchinji one stop border facility will be built under phase four of the Nacala Corridor development project.

    He needs to be probed before going back to his racist country German.He is running away with our resources he has stolen.Check him before goes!
