Democratic Party Leader, Harry Kalaba has accused the Patriotic Front of distributing 50,000 blank National Registration Cards –NRCS s- in provinces they consider their strongholds to rig elections in 2021.

Addressing a media briefing this morning, Mr. Kalaba disclosed that a further 10,000 blank NRCS have been distributed in opposition strongholds to allegedly rig the 2021 general election.

Mr. Kalaba adds that the PF is spearheading the mobile NRC issuance in provinces like Luapula yet the department of National Registration has not been funded.

He insists that the PF has continued to engage in corruption and illegal activities to rig the 2021 general elections.

But PF Media Director, Sunday Chanda when contacted has told Phoenix News that the party has gained popularity and confidence of the Zambian people and does not need to engage in such dubious activities to win an election.
