Stardy Construction Company Refutes Stories that It Has Faiked to Build a Maternity Annex At Kabushi Clinic

Stardy construction owner Stardy Mwale has spoken out on allegations that his company has failed to build a maternity annex at Kabushi clinic, five years after being awarded the contract in 2013.

Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo over the weekend while visiting his constituency called for the arrest of Stardy construction, a local contractor for dragging the construction of a maternity annex at Kabushi at the cost of k1.6 million.

Mr. Mwale who is also ministry of defense permanent secretary tells phoenix news that he won the tender in 2013 before becoming a permanent secretary and the building in question has been built.

Speaking from the site in Kabushi, Mr. Mwale said people that accused him of not building the maternity annex have fabricated stories about the matter and are being malicious for reasons known to themselves.

He explained that what was remaining was only the connection of water, stating that the building is ready for handover to the ministry of health.
