A THIRD year student at the University of Zambia (UNZA) has died after being hit by car on Great East Road in Lusaka yesterday.

According to a statement issued by the student union at the University, Moomba Munakumbe died around 23:40 hours last evening.

The union explained that Munakumbe was on his way home in Marshlands when the fatal accident happened.

Munakumbe was a third year student in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Kalemba
