INFORMATION and Broadcasting Minister Dora Siliya has this morning chased Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation ( ZNBC) unionized workers who went to her officer over the non – payment of November salaries.
The Petauke Central law maker only took three minutes to address hungry workers and it was a reminder that they are not special compared to other civil servants who haven’t seen their salaries for over six months.
“How special are you ZNBC employees, your colleagues at council have gone half a year without salaries and you just one month you are busy complaining, just leave my office and be productive”, she said.
Helpless and frustrated workers just dusted their feets as they headed back to mass media waiting to say “one Zambia one Nation” at 19 : 00 hours main news with empty stomachs.
