The so-called US-based Environmental Investigations Agency (EIA) report that linked the First Family and Ministers to  illicit trade of Mukula tree is part of the calculated series of a scheme to agitate for  regime change.

We also aware that the scheme is orchestrated by some disgruntled elements in an alliance with foreign-based entities to oust President Edgar Lungu and replace him with a puppet by peddling falsehoods against him and other Government officials.

Indeed, this is a deliberate attempt to paint President Lungu black and a calculated move to erode the Zambian people’s confidence in him in an effort to wrestle power from a democratically elected Republican President.

Further, the report was released and published by a known media outlet hostile to Government shortly after the US Ambassador accredited to Zambia attempted to influence Zambia to adopt gay rights and same sex marriage.

We are not shocked by the said disgruntled elements’ attempts to get to State House using the backdoor because they are dead sacred of facing President Lungu as he will defeat them in 2021 elections.
