Republican President Edgar Lungu is shocked to learn that the 2019/2020 farm inputs for Kawambwa District were delivered late.

He said as far as he was concerned Kawambwa District received farm inputs long before the onset of the rains.

ZANIS reports that President Lungu has however said he will follow up the matter so as to establish what transpired with the distribution of farm inputs.
And President Lungu has appealed to the people of Kawambwa to take advantage of the favourable weather pattern by engaging in farming.
He explained that due to climate change, the weather pattern has changed resulting in the province receiving good rainfall.

President Lungu said government will do everything possible to ensure that agriculture activities are supported in the province.
He pointed out that government remains resolute to taking development to all parts of the country.

President Lungu’s visit to Kawambwa is aimed at appreciating the investment opportunities in the district and to check on government operations. – ZANIS
