A sex enhancer said to help male partners
AS E X U A L e n h a n c e r c a l l e d ‘ B e d r o o m Sweet’ used by women to prolong sexual drive in men has hit the market on the Copperbelt. But the labour movement is concerned that the enhancer might affect men’s productivity at workplaces. Bedroom Sweet, a sexual enhancer from India, is being sold by women. It is believed to prolong the sexual drive of men up to not less than six hours once the woman takes it.
According to the instructions, women have to take the sexual enhancer 45 minutes before having intercourse with their partners. Investigations conducted by the Daily Mail in Kitwe revealed that women are using the drug, which is being sold at K10 per sachet. One needs to buy three sachets for the enhancers to work effectively.
Women have to suck the sexual enhancer, which they say tastes like a sweet. Those that have used it have attested that their sexual life has improved with their partners. Abigail Chama boasts that her husband can now go for 10 rounds non-stop and that he is enjoying the benefits. Ms Chama said she knew about the drug through Facebook and that she does not regret using the drug. “My sexual life with my husband has improved because he never gets tired easily,” Ms Chama said. Ms Chama uses the enhancer to satisfy her husband so that he does not lust for other women.
A n o t h e r c l i e n t , E u n i c e Kasonde, uses the enhancer when her husband is off-duty because it gives them more time to enjoy their conjugal rights. “I don’t use it during working hours because I fear my husband cannot perform at work.
It is a good herb because it makes a man want more sex from his woman,” Ms Kasonde said. Ms Kasonde said the first time she used the herb, her husband failed to go for work and they had to spend the whole day in the bedroom. But the labour movement has cautioned women against taking sexual enhancers that would make their husbands unproductive at work.
United Mineworkers Union of Zambia (UMUZ) president Wisdom Ngwira urged the women using the drug to stop because it has the ability to render their husbands useless at work. Mr Ngwira said men that spend more time having sex usually find it difficult to perform at work because they are tired.
