Let Us Pray For Chingola – Minister Sumaili

The Ministry of National Guidance and Religious affairs has called for increased prayers among the clergy and the members of the general citizenry in an effort to restore peace and unity in the country in the wake of the prevailing violence on the Copperbelt.

Minister of national guidance and religious affairs Godfridah Sumaili says the nation has been engulfed in fear,anxiety and confusion facilitated by the alleged ritual killings and attacks in the area.

Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka today, Rev Sumaili has further expressed concern that some people have taken advantage of the situation to perpetuate violence,unrest and riots a situation she says needs intervention from God.

And Rev Sumaili has since warned members of the public to desist from circulating videos of violence spreading fear and confusion among members of the public.
