Chilubi By-Election Poll In Low Key

Voting has started in the Chilubi parliamentary by election with a small number of voters at polling stations visited so far.

At Muchinshi polling station, four people had voted by 6:20 hrs.

There are 46677 voters in Chilubi constituency but factors such as rains are likely to affect the voter turn out.

Electoral commission of Zambia Chief Electoral Officer Patrick Nshidano says voting in two polling stations, Muchinshi and Chitonge, he has visited have started on a low note with a few voters and hopes that the turn out will improve as the day unfolds.
