PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu says late former Clerk of the National Assembly Mwelwa Chibesakunda will be remembered for his distinguished service, hard work and dedication to duty. In a message of condolences to Mr Chibesakunda’s family, the President said the former Zambia’s Ambassador to Japan made significant contributions to the nation through his illustrious career as Clerk of the National Assembly and diplomat. “Mr Chibesakunda will be remembered for his distinguished service, hard work and dedication to parliamentary business not only in Zambia but also in the SADC and Commonwealth regions,” the head of State said. This is contained in a statement by Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Isaac Chipampe.
