The of Coalition of Political Parties and Non-Governmental Organizations would like to commend the Republican President Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, the Church and indeed the people of this great nation for standing together in this difficult time when a section of society who don’t mean well for our country want to make Zambia ungovernable through the criminal acts experienced in the recent days.

We also commend the men and women in uniform for doing everything possible and being professional to bring the situation under control.

We urge the citizens of this country to remain patriotic and put the interests of the country.
