POLICE in Lusaka have arrested a 40-year-old woman on allegations of indecently assaulting an 8-year-old boy.
After assaulting the boy, Cindy Mulopo is said have threatened him that he would die if he told anyone of the two times she had sexually abused him.
Mother of the boy reported the matter which she said happened twice in Chilenje South.
Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo confirmed the incident.
“It is alleged that the victim fell sick and was taken to a local Hospital where he was diagonized with a Sexually Transmitted Infection and it was later discovered that the suspect indecently assaulted the victim and threatened him that he would die if he disclosed to anyone,” Katongo said.
She said Mulopo was in police custody charged with Indescent Assault on a boy.
