PF Donates Towards Covid -19 Fight In Mushindano

The Patriotic Front (PF) party in North-western province has donated various items to Mushindamo district for COVID-19 frontline workers who are screening travellers entering the province from the Copperbelt.

The donated items include liquid soap, face masks, hand washing buckets and a flood light.

Speaking during the donation at St. Dorothy clinic, PF provincial chairperson, Jackson Kungo said the party will continue supplementing government efforts in fighting against the spread of the coronavirus.

Mr. Kungo has since called upon Members of Parliament and other civic leaders to work together with government in the fight against COVID-19 by sensitizing communities.

Meanwhile, Mushindamo District Commissioner, Emmanuel Chihili has thanked the party for the donation of the items.

Mr Chihili however, expressed disappointment that some councillors in the district are not actively participating in the fight against the disease.
