The University Teaching Hospital -UTH Director Head Clinic Care and Diagnostic Alex Makupe has expressed concern over the inadequate wheel chairs at the health facility.
Dr. Makupe says the hospital has been facing the challenge for sometime now.
He explains that the health care givers struggle to handle emergencies that require patients to use the wheel chair.
Dr. Makupe disclosed this when he received a donation of 15 wheel chairs, 6-thousands surgical masks and 6-thousand examination gloves donated by Cardinal distributors Limited.
And, Cardinal Distributors Limited General Manager Elias Chibamba said about 1 hundred and 80 thousand Kwacha has been spent on procuring personal protective equipment for the health care givers.
