Police Concludes Investigations In The Matter Involving Four Suspects Charged For Conspiracy To Commit A Felony

Police in Lusaka have concluded investigations in the matter involving four suspects charged with conspiracy to committing a felony.

Police Public Relations Officer Esther Mwaata Katongo has confirmed to Pan African Radio News.

She said investigations in a case an Asian businessman Panyam Vikram Deva-Reddy allegedly  hired four assassins to murder Vinod Yaddula of Ten Miles in Chibombo District  are done and the docket is before the National Prosecutions Authority (NPA) in order for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to give further guidance.

Mrs. Katongo has also disclosed that the four suspects have been released on Police bond and the NPA are yet to set the date for them to appear in court.

Mr. Yaddula last week appealed to President Edgar Lungu to give him state security saying his life was in danger.
