AMAN of Kitwe has failed in his attempt to win his love back because his estranged wife considers him to be an animal. Kate Nkosha testified before a Bulangililo Local Court that she could not reconcile with Frazer Nkosha because he has been torturing her and accused her of being a prostitute. Kate told the court that her husband accused her mother of introducing her to alcohol and prostitution after she decided to retrieve her from her marriage. This was being heard in a case in which Frazer Nkosha sued his wife Kate for reconciliation on grounds that she has packed out of their matrimonial home. The two got married in 2017 and they have a child together.
Kate, who described her husband as an animal, told the court that all was well when they got married but problems in their marriage started after her husband’s sister visited them. She testified that she never had peace in her marriage when her sister-in-law was staying with them. She said she left her matrimonial home after her husband beat her up and accused her of insulting his sister. She told the court that her mother retrieved her from the marriage because of mistreatment from her husband.
Kate said when her husband realised that his mother-in-law was there to retrieve her from the marriage, he accused her of introducing her daughter to alcohol and prostitution. “When I heard this man insulting my mum after she came to retrieve me from the marriage I realised that I got married to a disrespectful husband,” she said.
Kate refused to reconcile with her husband and told the court that reconciling with her husband would lead her to death. Earlier Frazer testified that he never accused his mother-in-law of forcing his wife to leave their matrimonial home. He told the court that he loves his wife and pleaded with her to get back with him. Bulangililo senior local court magistrate Kambole Nyoni dismissed the case because Kate refused to reconcile with her husband. He also reprimanded Frazer for mistreating his wife and advised either of them to sue for divorce be
