Nakanya Ward Councilor Dumps UPND
In a mass exodus of the United Party for National Development(UPND) councilors, Nakanya Ward Councilor in Nalikwanda Constituency in Western Province Muyunda Silenga has abandoned the opposition.
In his letter dated May 1 2020, addressed to the Mongu Municipal Council, Mr Muyunda said he has resigned his position to seek greener pasture.
He thanked the people of Nakanya for giving him an opportunity to serve and prayed that Nalikwanda will be granted the district status to bring in the much needed all inclusive infrastructure development.
