Two Nyimba men are on the run after stabbing their brother in-law.

The suspects pounced on their brother in-law who had a quarrel with their sister. Eastern Province Police Commissioner Luckson Sakala says David Mwale aged 42 was wounded by his two brother’s in-law of CH area in Kacholola. Mr. Sakala told Breeze FM News that the incident happened yesterday around 12 hours.
He said the victim sustained a deep cut on the belly as a knife is alleged to have been used in the act. Mr. Sakala said the two suspects together with the wife to David whose belly was ripped off are on the run. He explains that David had asked his wife to give him money but that she refused, a situation that led to the fight between the two.
The Police Commissioner said David’s wife managed to escape and reported the matter to his two brothers who quickly went to David’s place and started beating him. He said one of the two brothers got a knife and stabbed David on the stomach. David is in the Nyimba District Hospital where he is battling for his life.
Mr. Sakala said David is admitted in the Nyimba District Hospital and described his condition as stable.
