KAMPYONGO BACKS POLICE ON DEAL WITH UPND

Government says it is disappointed with the manner in which UPND members are reacting to the summoning of their leader, Mr Hakainde Hichilema.
Some UPND members have described as intimidation the Police call out for Mr Hichilema to appear before them at Service headquarters for investigations.
The UPND members have vowed to escort Mr Hichilema and offer him the necessary security when Police conduct their investigations.
But Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo has directed Police to deal with UPND cadres who will escort Mr Hichilema.
Mr Kampyongo says no one is above the law and therefore UPND members should allow Police to conduct their investigations freely.
Mr Hichilema is expected at Police Service Headquarters tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd December, 2020 at 10:00 hrs to help with investigations over a Kalomo farm.
