Mandevu Aspiring Candidates Meet…As Dr Mubanga, Mulenga pledges To Donate Money To The Wards, Constituency

In the spirit of unity, Patriotic Front(PF) Mandevu constituency aspiring candidates converged at the same platform at the Zebra Crossing in Roma Township, with Dr Kafula Mubanga and Francis Mutale Mulenga pledging to dish out K10 000 and K5 000 respectively to each of the eight wards in Mandevu Constituency.

Chris Shakafuswa who is also an Aspiring Candidate pledged to mount two boreholes in Ng’ombe Compound.
Speaking at the occasion held over the weekend, PF Mandevu Constituency Chairperson Joseph Malama Tamba who is also an aspiring Candidate said he had called upon the meeting to demonstrate unity in the Mandevu Constituency intraparty politics.
He said all the Aspiring Candidates are putting the interest of the party above self.
Mr Tamba said he would not take it kindly if his supporters vilify his opponents ahead of the party adoptions.

“Someone wanted me to approve a statement where he scandalized my young brother Shakafuswa but I blatantly refused because I am not like that,” Mr Tamba disclosed.
He added: “We are here together as Aspiring candidates sharing the same platform because we share the same interest and that is to deliver victory for President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and the PF.”
The Rapheal Chota ward Councilor said he is ready to support any candidate who will be adopted, the view shared by other candidates.
” If the party adopts Francis Mutale Mulenga, I will support him, if the party adopts Kafula Mubanga, I will give him my support and if Shakafuswa is the one who will be adopted, I will support him,” Mr Tamba said
Dr Mubanga said if given a chance to be MP, he will make Mandevu Constituency a better place.
He pledged to donate K10 000 to each of the eight wards and K30 000 to the Constituency, much to the jubilation of PF members present at the event.
And Mr Mulenga said he would transform the constituency by taking development to all corners of Mandevu.
He pledged K5 000 to all the wards of Mandevu constituency .

Meanwhile, Shakafuswa thanked Mr Tamba for showing good leadership.
