Zambian DNA is alive to the fact that the people of Zambia will on August 12 go to the polls, an event that comes after every five years, and we are fully aware that every one enjoys the right to choose a leader of their choice.

Indeed, people can only do so in a peaceful atmosphere, and we are confident that the Zambian people will renew the mandate of President Edgar Lungu and the PF to govern the country for another 5 year term given the fact they have demonstrated a tacit commitment to improve the welfare of the Zambian people in the last ten years they have been in power, rolled out unprecidented massive infrastructure developmental projects in all parts of the country, ensured each of the ten Provinces got it’s fair share of the national cake.

Government through FRA are currently rewarding the hard-working farmers with a fair cash price for their produce, President Lungu’s Government has also developed the best blueprint or manifesto to turn around the economy and adequately tackle the current economic challenges the country is grappling with.

However, we do not expect the people of Western Province and other Opposition- dominated areas where they rejected those in power in preference for the Opposition representatives who later betrayed them by refusing to work with Government in delivering the much-needed development in their respective areas to repeat the same mistake again this time around.

It’s for these reasons we urging Zambians to carefully scrutinize those who are aspiring for the highest office in the land as some do not mean well for the country.
