MORTUARIES FULL TO CAPACITY AS COVID DEATH TOLL UPS

Mortuaries are struggling with space in Lusaka due to the increase in the number of deaths.
The country has in the last 24hours lost 49 lives and recorded 2,060 new confirmed COVID-19 cases out of 8,278 tests conducted representing 25% positivity.
Ministry of Health permanent secretary for technical services Dr. Kennedy Malama says they see funerals in high density areas which were previously spared.
He says Full implementation of directives pronounced will take the country on a trajectory to bringing COVID 19 under control and bring the much needed New Normal.
Meanwhile a check at Chingwere cemetery by Diamond News revealed that how people are disregarding the covid19 protocols.
