Mugabe died this month aged 95 and a funeral was held in the capital Harare.

The government had resisted his family’s wish for him to be buried in his home region of Zvimba, deciding that he should lay in Heroes Acre – a national monument and burial ground.

The family eventually consented, but on Thursday the government backtracked.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the late change in plans. The Mugabe family had appeared content with the burial at Heroes Acre, after it was agreed that a mausoleum would be built for the former leader.

In a statement published on Thursday, Information Minister Nick Mangwana said the change was in line with policy “to respect the wishes of families of deceased heroes”.
Mugabe died in Singapore while receiving treatment for cancer, and his body was flown back to Zimbabwe.

In the wake of his death, the family publicly complained that they had not been consulted about arrangements for the state funeral.

Mr Antony Tira – A renowned tour guide-cum photographer – at Matira bush camp, spotted and photographed the black dotted foul and posted it on the camp’s Facebook page attracting a lot of social media attention.

“At first I thought it was a zebra that had been captured and painted or marked for purposes of migration. I was confused when I first saw it,” Mr Tira said

He said on closer examination, he realised that what he was seeing was actually a zebra with melanin disorder. It was hardly a week old, it appeared weak and very different from the others for it has not stripes and was stuck close to a female adult zebra, probably its mother.

The prisoners were killed by brutal methods that have been frowned upon, including crucifixion and beheading, according to a human rights organisation.

At least 58 of those killed were foreign nationals and most were accused of spreading Shia Islam – a crime in the Sunni Arab state.

There were 21 Pakistanis, 15 Yemenis, five from Syria and four from Egypt. Two Jordanians, two Nigerians, a Somalian and two from unidentified nations were also included in the figures.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman pledged to reduce the use of the death penalty in the oppressive Arab kingdom. But, in spite of his promise, there is a rise in state executions.

In a report presented at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, The Death Penalty Project revealed a further 24 people are at “imminent risk'”of execution. They include three children, prominent political opponents of the crown prince, clerics, and human rights campaigners.

At least six teens were executed this year after being arrested for supposed “crimes” when they were kids, the report claims.

An event hosted by The Death Penalty Project highlighted the “illegal and arbitrary executions” in Saudi Arabia as well as human rights abuses for both detainees and their families.

Experts said these abuses have been “exacerbated by the systematic torture of detainees and grossly unfair trials culminating in death sentences”.

Among those executed this year are three women and 51 who were facing drug charges that would be considered minor offences elsewhere in the world.

On April 22,  a horrific mass execution was carried out by the savage regime involving 37 men being killed. One was crucified and another had his head impaled on a spike, The Sun UK reports.

Those killed during the beheading bloodbath had all been convicted of “terrorism offences” in the hardline kingdom.

One of those beheaded was Abdulkareem al-Hawaj. He was arrested while attending an anti-government protest when he was aged just 16.

He was executed by beheading. His head was cut from his body in front of a baying, bloodthirsty crowd along with 36 other men.

At least one of the bodies were reportedly crucified and put out on display after the execution.

Another victim, Mujtaba al-Sweikat, was a teenager who was set to start a new life in the US, studying at Western Michigan University, when he was arrested for attending an anti-government protest at age 17.

He was badly beaten including on the soles of his feet before he “confessed” to crimes against the state. Human rights charities claim he was also tortured into confessing and convicted in a “sham trial.”

Sentencing a person to death who is aged under 18 is banned under international law.

Family spokesman and nephew Leo Mugabe says this should be in about a month, when the new mausoleum has been built.

Earlier plans to have a burial on Sunday have been cancelled.

Mr Mugabe, who was 95, died last week while being treated in Singapore.

And ZANIS reports that President Edgar Lungu will be among other Heads of State and Government attending late Mugabe’s funeral, in the company of first Republican President Kenneth Kaunda, fourth Republican President Rupiah Banda and former Vice President Guy Scott.

Zambia’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe Emmanuel Chenda says President Lungu will join other Heads of State from 11 countries from Africa and beyond, attending the State funeral, today.

Lilian Achieng Gogo, MP for Rangwe constituency in western Kenya, told parliament that farting passengers were increasingly becoming a security threat because of the discomfort caused to fellow travellers.

“There is one irritant that it is often ignored, and this is the level of farting within the aircraft… If this is not managed well it can cause discomfort and insecurity on board.”

The MP was contributing to a motion about amendments to a law on offences committed on aircraft.

Among her proposed reforms was one that would allow flight crews to dispense anti-flatulent drugs to passengers.

The MP also wanted all local and international flights to have paramedics on board, as well as the amount of alcohol served to passengers checked.
