The prisoners were killed by brutal methods that have been frowned upon, including crucifixion and beheading, according to a human rights organisation.

At least 58 of those killed were foreign nationals and most were accused of spreading Shia Islam – a crime in the Sunni Arab state.

There were 21 Pakistanis, 15 Yemenis, five from Syria and four from Egypt. Two Jordanians, two Nigerians, a Somalian and two from unidentified nations were also included in the figures.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman pledged to reduce the use of the death penalty in the oppressive Arab kingdom. But, in spite of his promise, there is a rise in state executions.

In a report presented at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, The Death Penalty Project revealed a further 24 people are at “imminent risk'”of execution. They include three children, prominent political opponents of the crown prince, clerics, and human rights campaigners.

At least six teens were executed this year after being arrested for supposed “crimes” when they were kids, the report claims.

An event hosted by The Death Penalty Project highlighted the “illegal and arbitrary executions” in Saudi Arabia as well as human rights abuses for both detainees and their families.

Experts said these abuses have been “exacerbated by the systematic torture of detainees and grossly unfair trials culminating in death sentences”.

Among those executed this year are three women and 51 who were facing drug charges that would be considered minor offences elsewhere in the world.

On April 22,  a horrific mass execution was carried out by the savage regime involving 37 men being killed. One was crucified and another had his head impaled on a spike, The Sun UK reports.

Those killed during the beheading bloodbath had all been convicted of “terrorism offences” in the hardline kingdom.

One of those beheaded was Abdulkareem al-Hawaj. He was arrested while attending an anti-government protest when he was aged just 16.

At least one of the bodies were reportedly crucified and put out on display after the execution.

Another victim, Mujtaba al-Sweikat, was a teenager who was set to start a new life in the US, studying at Western Michigan University, when he was arrested for attending an anti-government protest at age 17.

He was badly beaten including on the soles of his feet before he “confessed” to crimes against the state. Human rights charities claim he was also tortured into confessing and convicted in a “sham trial.”

Sentencing a person to death who is aged under 18 is banned under international law.

The company was accused by union bosses of bullying its own staff. As a result, over 1,500 flights have been cancelled as union bosses have warned that they could continue the action until the end of the year.

About 280,000 people will be affected by the strike which is set to continue on Tuesday, costing the airline £80m in lost revenue.

BA and The British Airline Pilots’ Association (BALPA) are clashing after the union rejected a proposed 11.5 per cent pay rise for its pilots, taking their pay package to around £200,000 a year.

BALPA says that BA “has resorted to breaking agreements and threatening pilots who will strike, which is bound to make matters worse” after they emailed their 4,300 pilots on Friday warning that strike action would be a “serious breach” of their contract.

British Airways also threatened to withdraw a travel perk – where staff can book tickets for ten per cent of the full fare plus taxes – for three years if they chose to strike.

BALPA branded the airline’s behaviour “illogical and irresponsible” and “will further deepen the fall out with their pilots.”

Flights to New York, Delhi, Hong Kong and Johannesburg have all been affected, with the airline telling passengers: “If your flight is cancelled, please do not go to the airport.”

Travellers have been offered other options, including full refunds, flights on different carriers, or the option to fly on a different date. But they have been warned not turn up at the airport without a confirmed flight.

British Airways said on Sunday: “We’re extremely sorry for the problems caused by the strike action called by the pilots’ union, BALPA on 9, 10 and 27 September.

“We continue to be available for constructive talks with BALPA, on the basis that there are no pre-conditions to those talks.

“If you have a flight booked with us on those dates, it is likely that you will not be able to travel as planned due to BALPA’s strike action. We are offering all affected customers full refunds or the option to re-book to another date of travel or alternative airline.”

It is thought that Mr Johnson believes he could legally disregard some or all of the bill’s requirements – a move that could see him hauled before the courts and potentially facing prison.

It’s thought this could trigger an emergency judicial review by the Supreme Court next month, leading to a court showdown over whether the UK would be able to leave the EU with no deal on 31 October.

Mangayamma, who conceived through In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) process, delivered twin babies at Ahalya Nursing Home.

A team comprising four doctors performed the caesarean operation.

S. Umashankar, who headed the team of doctors, said both the mother and the babies were doing well.

“This is a medical miracle,” Umashankar told reporters after the surgery. He claimed that Mangayamma has become the oldest woman in the world to give birth.

Earlier, 70-year-old Daljinder Kaur was considered to be the oldest woman in the world to give birth to a baby. Kaur of Haryana delivered a baby boy in 2016 following an IVF process.

“I am very happy. God has answered our prayers,” Mangayamma told reporters after the delivery.

Her husband Raja Rao and other family members celebrated the moment by distributing sweets.

Umashankar said they went ahead with the process after a team of doctors conducted various tests and found that she is fit to become pregnant.

Mangayamma conceived in the very first cycle of the IVF procedure. Subsequently, three teams were formed to monitor her general health, nutrition and cardiac health, he said.

“Ten doctors worked for nine months to keep a close watch on her health. The regular scans revealed that there are no complications,” said the doctor.
