And PF cadres have again beaten up Lusaka MMD chairman William Banda and looted houses of musician Darlisoul and comedian Difikoti.
The PF cadres also have burnt to ashes vehicles belonging to Difikoti and Darlisoul.
The two artistes were among a number of musicians hired by the MMD to perform during immediate past president Rupiah Banda’s campaigns.
In Kanyama, MMD official Scoprion Kadobi comfirmed that PF cadres caught up with Sonile Mukwa in Chibolya slum and pounced on him with stones and screw drivers.
He said after overpowering him, they tore his clothes and wrapped him with PF chitenge materials and ran away when they thought he had died.
Chibolya residents organised transport and rushed Mukwa to the University Teaching Hospital where doctors managed to resuscitate him but was by 18 hours local time still in the intensive care unit.
Kadobi explained that all MMD officials in town and Lusaka compounds have gone into hiding as marauding PF hooligans continues searching for them.
‘I am also in hiding and I don’t even move because they said they want to kill me,’ said Kadobi by phone.
He Said PF cadres have beaten up all workers in shops owned by MMD officials and taken them over. ]]>

PF chairman for mobilization and strategy Charles Banda has told Qfm radio station that lack of unprofessionalism by the ZNBC especially during the campaign period has caused the media institution to loose its credibility.
Mr. Banda noted that it is sad to see how people do not want to associate themselves with ZNBC adding that the media house had lamentably failed to give quality information to the public during the reign of the MMD.
He has however, noted that his party will ensure that laws that state that ZNBC be managed as a public service broadcaster are fully implemented to the satisfaction and benefit of all Zambians with divergent views. ]]>
Institute Spokesperson and director, Thabo Kawana has come out from hiding and says Micheal Sata deserves the win saying it is clear the mandate he has been given by the people is completely overwhelming.
Kawana has since urged Zambians to be patient with Mr. Sata and allow him to undertake his developmental agenda for the country.
He notes that Zambians are expectant of good things to come from Mr. Sata hence there is need to be supportive saying without support the new president may fail.
Meanwhile, Kawana has commended 4th Republican president Rupiah Banda for conceding defeat and allowing the will of the people to prevail saying had he refused Zambia could have plunged into chaos.
Kawana has since advised opposition losing candidates to rally behind the newly elect leader to ensure that he succeeds.
Thabo Kawana a Kitwe native, has been until now a strong critic of President Michael Sata who was sponsored by the opposition MMD to issue unfounded statements.

ZANIS reports from Lusaka , today, that Mr Nampindi said it was not true that any government worker or resident of the area was being harassed by the PF party cadres.
He said it was not true that the ruling party cadres could barely 48 hours of being in power can start harassing innocent government workers in the District.

Household property and two vehicles worth millions of Kwacha at Mr. Banda’s guest house and residence have been stolen and destroyed in the fracas.

COPPERBELT based musician a.k.a Dandy Crazy was this week after aftermath of election results nabbed and mercilessly beaten by Opposition Movement for Multi-Pary Democracy (MMD) losing Wusakile Constituency, Pavyuma Kalobo.Pavyuma who is the elder brother to Copperbelt Nuisance troublemaker Youngson Kalobo populary known as Youngson, gave Dandy Crazy some uppercut Punches and jabs on his body.
This follows the losing of Parliamentary elections seat to the ruling PF in Wusakile Constituency in Kitwe.
Pavyuma had accused and attributed to Dandy Crazy’s ‘DONCHI KUBEBA’ song as the reason for his defeat and loss.
Dandy Crazy was later admitted in hospital after experiencing some internal pains.
Meanwhille, losing opposition MMD kwacha constituency, Joe Malanje has expressed shock at the defeat he suffered on Tuesdays elections.
Malanje too, also beat up his campaign manager to bleeding for what he termed, he was not being told the truth as to what was obtaining on the ground but instead the manager used to demand for more money to help the masses at funerals and paying other residents house rentals.
Joe Malanji was later nabbed by the police and spent a day in the police cells.
Mr. Malanje has since withdrawn his donations he earlier made to Kwacha constituency in run up to the general elections which is a HammerMill, 78 Seater AVM Bus and a Haerse Vehicle.

The rioters are gathered at 16feet in Nkana East/West while others are in Wusakile, Chamboli, Bulangililo, Chimwemwe, Kwacha’s Club Zero and sorrounding areas.
A bus belonging to Ticklayls bus services coming from Solwezi to Lusaka had its windows shattered with one of the passengers, a chinese national had his mouth leaped off by coming stones which were thrown at the bus.
Heavy Big stones and logs have been put in the roads as blocking mechanism by the rioters.
Zambeef products have since been looted at Wusakile round about by the rioters.
Meanwhile, in Bulangililo, rioters have burnt down the Mosque which is the place of worship for Muslims.
The fire brigade failed to quench the fire on time as they arrived late to quench it.
Riots have escalated this late afternoon with all the blame going to ECZ on delayment to announce the presidential winner.
In Ndola, Chifubu, Masala, Chipulukusu, Ndeke and other townships, the situation is the same with rioters burning down Ruphiah Banda’s Billboards, Potraits among other things.
The rioters are exchanging teargas canisters by the Police with stones. When tear gas is thrown at them, they throw it back and are stones with them.
