Betty Sampa, 60 of Woodlands extension died at the University Teaching Hospital yesterday morning.
Sampa was attacked and hacked together with her gardener before she was robbed.

This is the result of arming cadres with machetes so called pangas. The PF cadres have no human morals. All they yearn to see is blood shed and death. Now what will they have to say about this? Let Lungu act and disarm his cadres.

We mourn with you and cannot imagine what you are going through. Surely it is not acceptable that we can be losing senior citizens in such attacks which we know are down to poor economic performance by the pf. What we have are groups of youth who are unemployed and see crime as the only alternative. let’s have reinforcement around this and many areas to curb down on the these sorts of unthinkable acts by ruthless thugs ,I live in this area and these crimes have taken center stage where citizens are attacked in front of there gates ,reports r there at the police to show but no actions taken ,we need well coordinated night patrol s .these chaps just sit and chat all night while getting paid with our hard earned tax payers money .they need to serve and protect the citizens of this great peace loving nation .its overwhelmingly sad to continue losing lives like this .my heart felt and deepest condolences to the bereaved family. mhsriep.
