Un-Adopted PF MPs Turn To MMD
Three un-adopted aspiring parliamentary candidates of the patriotic front (PF) have with immediate effect resigned from the party and joined the ruling Movement for Multi-Party democracy (MMD).
The three members are Justin Mumba of Nyimba in Eastern province, Mable Ngulube of Bwacha constituency in Central province and Luanshya’s Gillian Jere.
The trio has bemoaned lack of transparency in the PF, citing the adoption of parliamentary candidates and the PF general conference as major examples.
Speaking at a press conference in Lusaka this yesterday, Ms. Gillian Jere, who claimed to be a founding member of the PF says she blindly followed Mr. Sata, believing that the party would be a party of principles and integrity.
And Mable Ngulube, who applied to stand on the Bwacha seat, complained that the adoption process exhibited high levels of discrimination against women.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mumba of Nyimba wondered why the PF held a general conference when it already had names of the central committee.

nt evry1 who applied has bin adopted, so let these 3 accept da fact dat they are nt da suitable aspiring candidates 4 these places as at now. nt evry1 wil be happy 4 nt being adopted,so we undastnd them.
