Pay Back Time? MMD Official Clobbered As Diffikoti And Darlisoul Vehicles Are Burnt

Patriotic Front (PF)cadres have beaten to near death MMD’s Kanyama youth treasurer Sonile Mukwa.
And PF cadres have again beaten up Lusaka MMD chairman William Banda and looted houses of musician Darlisoul and comedian Difikoti.
The PF cadres also have burnt to ashes vehicles belonging to Difikoti and Darlisoul.
The two artistes were among a number of musicians hired by the MMD to perform during immediate past president Rupiah Banda’s campaigns.
In Kanyama, MMD official Scoprion Kadobi comfirmed that PF cadres caught up with Sonile Mukwa in Chibolya slum and pounced on him with stones and screw drivers.
He said after overpowering him, they tore his clothes and wrapped him with PF chitenge materials and ran away when they thought he had died.
Chibolya residents organised transport and rushed Mukwa to the University Teaching Hospital where doctors managed to resuscitate him but was by 18 hours local time still in the intensive care unit.
Kadobi explained that all MMD officials in town and Lusaka compounds have gone into hiding as marauding PF hooligans continues searching for them.
‘I am also in hiding and I don’t even move because they said they want to kill me,’ said Kadobi by phone.
He Said PF cadres have beaten up all workers in shops owned by MMD officials and taken them over.

    njota,
iam catholic and am cheering them on knowing that even if they are handed over to the police now, nothing will be done as kabonde is still in charge.
the church was really insulted by these chaps and are quietly licking their wounds. please dont drag them into this.
if you have a short memory, i dont, cos the same church was demonised by pointing out these short comings perpetrated by rupiah thru dora, kunda & shikapwasha. they never listened.
now let them taste the dose of their medicine.
ba presido, stop this after a week so that they learn.
leave the church out of this please.

I think you have missed the point my dear, it is not about whether these guys insulted or beat up anybody before, it is about the divine morality of the church, even in the face of adversity to show the Christ like nature. Christ was able to reemphasize this point by asking all who were ready to met out ‘justice’ to do so if none of them had never sinned before.
It is another debate whether what was said about the catholic is entirely false.
I pray the church is bigger than what is currently obtaining.

This is not civil. Revenge is for the primitive days when people had no justice and law. Sata should show he is a mature president by asking the police to arrest these thugs

There are many lessons all over the world that we can pick a leaf from. It is saddening to listen to the bitterness and call for retribution as if one was ordering milk and bread – something normal. Blood and life are sacred and if we can extol the wilful maiming of someone, even taking of life, then we urgently require examination. We are mentally unbalanced and happy about it.
Violence starts in a small way, just like the flicker of a flame but which immediately becomes unmanagable. Who thought the Ivory Coast, Somalia problems of violence would escalate to such levels and cost of so many lives. Will you walk the streets of Zambia when it is engulfed in flames? Which shop will remain open to tend to your needs when street gangs like the ones being encouraged take over? Where will you get information about the welfare of your mother and other members of your family and friends when lawlessness takes charge?
Not too long ago, gangs went on rumpage in Mansa, publicly executing percieved wrong-doers, looting and burning their property. But to what end! Have you stopped to look at the other side? Have you read about the grief of a sister for a brother who was burned alive. His crime was being a successful businessman, which those who were impoverished and not so lucky attributed to witchcraft. One wonders how many of these perpetrators, some currently behind prison walls, still believe the guilty of those they killed. Think again and ask yourself whether you will gladly submit to the breaking of your bones next time around when those you are currently identifying with are no longer of consequence
Let us be peaceable to all of God’s children!

In the Mfecane wars, Shaka’s impis would surround the conquered village with the severed heads of the vanquished impis on poles. This would also include the chief of the Vanquished tribe. They would rape the women, and impregnate them with their seed. Some of the young girls would be taken and given to the impis for pleasure. They would then burn the villages and make the survivors carry the animals and anything they pillaged. These people would be used as slaves by the victorious impi.

    That was 200 years ago.

During World War II, Hitler attacked the mighty Russian Empire. With its outdated machinery and a command which was inexperienced because Stalin had purged the senior army officers the Russian army was no match for the motivated and well trained and equiped German Army. The only recourse the Russian army had was to slow down the German army by laying booby traps, land mines and burning the towns they lost. Consequently as the German army moved closer to Moscow it grew further from the supply lines and as the towns they conquered had nothing they ran out of supplies. Just short of Moscow the winter set in and the Russians turned the tide against the Germans who were less adapted to the harsh Russian winter. The Russians oblitereated the Germans, and left the prisoners to die in the harsh winter to deter other Armies from invading the Fatherland. That was 66 years ago.

PF, this is not a war between tribes, parties or countries and this level of brutality shows the primitiveness of PF and Zambian politics. We are still 100-200 years behind!

Scorpion Kadobi and the late Nakawala where in the fore front of supporting Chiluba’s third term. When that failed and they went to Mulungushi Rock of Authority they welded pistols at the gate to bar late Christone Tembo, Nawakwi and the Other group led by General Miyanda. The Convention failed to pick a Presidential candidate and FTJ remained as President of the Party despite the fact that he could not contest the republican Presidency.

They came to Lusaka, and at State House MMD NEC meeting FTJ picked Mwanawasa as the Presidential Candidate. Scorpion Kadobi, Nakwala and Joshua Mutisa enforced this decision among the junior ranks of MMD. It was not a popular decision. Sata left MMD and formed PF after he felt he was the only credible leader left in MMD, to take over from FTJ in 2001.

The rest as the adage says, is History!

Ba Kadobi, you do deserve protection but did you offer the same to your PF colleagues? See how demonising your friends is?

PF, we get it! You were the victims of an unjust System but do not use the same system to victimise your “enemies”. Lets leave vengeance to God. Let us reconcile as Elias Chipimo had said we need a Tructh and Reconcilliation Commission. Sooner rather than later before someone dies! God Bless ZAMBIA

Comrades, violence is bad. As we condemn it, lets also remember that H.E MCS doesnt even have a cabinet, and the authority to arrest these people (not thugs) lies inthe IG and his Command. Its immature and primitive for the Zambia Police Command to be told by the president on what to do. I am not calling these people thugs because you will all agree with me if you’re “donchi kubeba” that most of us zipped our lips and these people stood for the party. I understand how they feel, and remember that this is still as fresh as last week when these people suffered. so lets not just rush to blame, HE MCS stated to say this country is way below standard and needs a lot of rebuilding, so this issue is part of what systems are crumbled and need rebuilding. Lets move one step at a time. Current step is Police to act, not the president. Unfortunately, most of these MMD cadres cant run to the police to hide because its a frying pan/fire situation. so they are afraid of their deeds from the law side. Na lunya!.
Second step is someone come up with a counseling plan for these “surviviors of electoral violence”. they need rehab coz they suffered so much at teh hands of the appropriate MMD THUGS. what you are seeing is a reaction to the effects of waht MMD planted in them.
As for Dalisoul and Difikoti, I pitty them and my heart goes to them. They were purely doing business i suppose. A word of caution to them and other celebrities…perhaps ALL of US is that there are many forms of businesses and money making ventures, but other are not worth the salt. When you are a celebrity, its probably a more serious judgement call for you to consider whether the money is worth the risks that might be visa vis the status you have and you following. They minted money ouot of this, and I know for sure that my money went to them as well to try and deceive more brothers and sisters that the tyranical MMD and Rupiah were good when in fact not. So again, they suffer the unfortunate consiquenecs of doing business in dangerous grounds. i ma not siding with the violence, but simply trying to advise ourselves that business may have repurcussions, lets be ready to face them when we chose to mint from there. I know a few artistes who are always ready to face the consequenes of their acts, but difference is they do this out of principle rather than money. They speak what they believe in, so even if there is no airplay from ZNBC, they dont care coz its about the conscience. I dont know what Dalisoul and Difikoti’s consciences tell them to do, but sure to every act their is a result, good or bad.
