LEAKS Force SATA To U-TURN Decision Of Appointing Corruption-Convict XAVIER CHUNGU As PS

REPUBLICAN President Michael Sata has U-turned on the appointment of former spy chief, Xavier Chungu.
This follows revelations from Cabinet office sources that Sata was expected to appoint Xavier Chungu as his Permanent Secretary for Luapula Province.
President Michael Sata has since castigated cabinet office for leaking state information and breaching security.
Mr Sata says he is disappointed that there is no confidentiality at Cabinet office and security information is been leaked to the media.
President Sata was speaking during the swearing in ceremony for three permanent secretaries for Northern, Central and Western Province.
Mr Sata has also warned the new permanent secretaries against peddling rumours at the expense of work as they risk being removed.
He directed the permanent secretaries to tour all the districts in their provinces to understand the needs and suffering of the people.
President Sata says the new officers should not reveal any information they receive because they are under oath.
President Sata has appointed Edwin Zumbunu as Central Province Permanent Secretary, Emmanuel Mwamba for Northern Province and Augustine Seyuba as Western Province Permanent secretary.

Its possible Cabinet Office did not leak the information of Chungu’s possible appointment as Permanent Secretary to the Post. Remember, two pipo from the Post were appointed into very senior Government positions and who knows, the leakage could come from anywhere, including these 2.

Regarding Emmanuel’s appointment, remember that there was a case of contempt of Court and regardless of how it went, i think another person could have been appointed instead of this one. However, the President reserves the right to choose whoever he desires to work with. So lets not blackmail H.E.

“You shall not steal” is one of the ten commandments. Ba President, thanks for listening if at all there was an attempt to bring Chungu on board. Please learn to consult, even us as small as we are, I believe on this one we were going to advise you properly, ie, if your advisors failed. I can’t just imagine you, ba Mikaele, accepting that appointment. I don’t know so much about Mwamba, but he looks weak in my eyes. Can he deliver on the promise? Was his case with the post disposed off?

He just has to rescind the decision of appointing bo Chungu. Otherwise, PF will kiss my vote, my family’s votes, my drinking mates’ votes, up to my concubines’ votes GOOD BYE. This is not what I was celebrating for on 22 Sept. Let that allergy against corruption be seen to work.
