Chinese Medicines Can Cure AIDS
Experts in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) have claimed that it has helped in the recovery of at least 17,000 HIV carriers and AIDS patients in China since 2004.
Speaking on the eve of World AIDS Day, which is observed on December 1, Wang Jian, deputy director of the TCM Center for AIDS Prevention and Treatment with the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said: “TCM performs as an effective supplement to Western therapy in terms of alleviating patients” symptoms, including fever, cough, asthenia and diarrhea, thus making life easier for them.”
According to the China Daily, China started to give AIDS patients free TCM therapy in a pilot project carried out among 2,300 patients in five provinces in 2004.
By last October, the projects had expanded to 19 provinces.
The TCM therapy is usually applied to carriers whose immune system is not too weak to receive the Western medication that is largely known as antiretroviral therapy; or to patients who suffer side effects from the therapies.
A biological indicator for this is CD4, a type of cell in the immune system. When a carrier”s CD4 count reaches 350 per cubic millimeter or below they will need western treatment.
According to Wang Jian, Chinese herbal medicines work differently from Western anti-HIV drugs. The Western therapies target blocking viral replication, but TCM therapy works towards increasing people”s immunity.
Wang said that Chinese government has allocated 220 million Yuan (34.49 million dollars) for TCM therapy research, and further efforts will be made to develop better treatment based on a combination of TCM and Western medicine.
By the end of 2011, China is estimated to have 780,000 people living with HIV/AIDS, including 154,000 patients with full-blown afflictions, official statistics show.

Tumfweko it is wrong in medicine to say “cure AIDS” but rather say “cure HIV”. In this case u wanted to say chines medince helps to improve the immune system of HIV Patients. AIDS is the final stage through which HIV patients encounter signs and symptoms due to depleted immune system (CD4 T-LYMPHOCYTES are the turget cells FOR HIV). So we dnt cure de syndrom, but we cure the caurse of the syndrom. Thank u for keeping us updated.

Tumfweko is sensation seeking. The body of the story says nothing about a cure. Treating symptoms and curing are 2 different things.

World politics people. HIV/AIDS is the biggest business so far and some people and countries have gotten rich becoz of the pandemic. Therefore, finding the cure is detrimental to the beneficiaries. I am telling you the cure has always been there but it can’t be exposed becoz the whole thing is a planned business.More money in their pockets at the expense of innocent people.Watch out the condoms, you better abstain.

This is the best news if its true.If ones life can be prolonged Halleluja!Theres a lot of young orphans who are affected the most with this deadly disease,they, especially need their parents.Africa surely needs this treatmeant the most.We thank God who works through the hands of this discovery.My heart goes out to all children imfected or affected.Nothing is impossible with God!

I hate you hiv,aids!I condemn you to hell.Look at how youre destroying our continent and basically wiping humanity.We thank God theres is prevention of mother to child transmission.Most children are born hiv free nowadays,amen!Please pregnant mothers or if you plan to conceive,get tested and know your status to save our innocent children from this disease and i know every hospital is testing every pregnant woman for this virus,Children are our future.

I have personally given out this kind of medicine to about 15 patients so far; 13 of them are testing negative! It works – this ARV thing is not there to help but kill….. Viva TCM
