Why can’t you people look beyond her mistakes calling her names and saying evil won’t help! Have some compassion. You don’t know this girl or what even transpered who are you to judge have you yourselves created a life? You’re not God we are all human stop casting stones when you’re not perfect.

To be bereaved family, my heartfelt condolences,
am a lady aged 29 with two kids and i tell myself that i have to handle them softly and tenderly though this does not mean i will scold or discipline them when need arises, i also look after nieces who are teenagers and these am extremly careful what i say to them when they are wrong because i know how high emotions tend to be around that age.
i tried committing suicide 3 times or more whilst growing up and its not because i didnt have it all. infact i can say i came from a middle income family and very christian. but when you are a teen with all these hormones buzzing everywhere, one tends to be too emotional. even when parents mean well, you tend to feel unloved and unwanted and in those days all we had was znbc so i cant say i was influenced by tv and there was no internet. so i just urge all parents to always give a listening ear to your kids and talk to them nicely. correcting someone isnt talking on top of your voice, kids to shapa (ku kwapula) are those below ten in my view.
sad indeed.

All of you blaming the poor girl are hypocrites.Problem with most Zambians is that you are always quick to judge others when you dont even know the full story, all you know is that they argued and there you go making your own stories and shunning the girl.I am not saying she made the right choice in doing what she did but lets not be quick to judge, the parent takes half the blame and yet no one is blaming him,he is automatically been made out to be a victim, yet you know nothing of the real truth behind it all. shameful…

Just two months ago we buried Daniel, an ex Lake Road student. Dealing with that was pretty hard on us that went to school with him and I’m sure it was too on the Lake Road P.T.A School staff. I hope now more resources will be directed towards the Guidance and Counselling department which is headed by Mrs. Chaponda if I remember correctly. Gosh I’m really saddened by this. God bless Lake Road P.T.A School, it’s students, and it’s staff.

My condolences to the family. This is another one of those sad developments among the youth. Let’s not sit in the judgement seat cos that seat belongs to GOD alone. The spirit of suicide is hovering over the heads of our young people these days. It is not just in Zambia. It is all over the world. But as parents, we are called to recognize and arrest this through prayer and counselling the young ones with wisdom from GOD. There is an emptiness in a lot of the young people which needs to be filled with love. Most of us(the older generations) grew up knowing obedience without questioning it. But now things are different. Our children a questioning a lot of things in their homes but no answers come forth for them. We need to change our parenting styles and try to move with the times so that we can build sound relationships with our children.

You know, I see why the Chinese government has such strict censorship over the media and internet. Look at what is happening to our children? Im writing this with tears in my eyes, I am deeply touched, something seriously needs to be done about this. Children are losing respect for their parents, they don’t understand the meaning of life anymore. really sad.

Tumfweko do not feed the public your own imagination on matters. Try to always tell it like it is not spicing or adding what YOU think caused or led to what happened. The dead girl that committed suicide did not argue with anyone, who told you that she argued with her father? Go back and get the story right

my condolences to the family, died too young and lived too short,no one will ever understand anyone else’s life but sometimes life is a personal journey which has to be faced alone and decided alone. Unfortunately she decided the wrong path,a life is always one with buried secrets as someone grows, choose words rightly, know that correction is there to put you on the right track .The truth is that we may never know what happened to a beautiful girl like her. Her father is a teacher and a good man….. Its not right for spectators who don’t even know him and the family to pass judgment…. The school needs serious improvement in the guidance section coz we can’t have two suicides from the same school in one year and both parents are teachers…. I as a former student is worried about the future of all of us because we are family who can’t afford to lose friends.
Forgive them father

To all those who find this as an opportunity to show your foolishness and insult at will, I pray that God convicts your heart and helps you see the light. The Devil is real and his Demons are just as real. Instead of you insulting this girl and wishing her hell and all, you should be praying for yourselves and your loved ones that the demon that possessed this girl comes nowhere close to you and those you love. Its the devil at work so there is no need for you to rejoice unless you’re an advocate of the devil himself.

Good mrng every1. Parenting is not as easy as we would want it to be. With things like Facebook taking over the role of parents/guardians and grand parents, managing your kids becomes more difficult. Men their evenings eating michopo and not having dinner with their families. Mums see their kids with expensive phones or playstaions or kids spending too much time on the net without questioning the kids. Some parents think grandparents are a waste of time. Wrong. Research shows that animals like elephants or baboons that spend family time together and have elders leading the groups live longer and happier lives. Morals are morals and cannot be overtaken by technology. Wrong is wrong and right is right, whatever century you live in. If a parent cannot handle his/her kids, call in sum1 to help. If a kid cannot handle parents, let that kid confide in sum1, that sum1 need not be a jerk from Facebook. RIP young lady and may the Lord look at your family with favor.

English is not our mother tongue. Remember for most of us except you who were spoiled by your parents, English is the second language, event third.
“Hang onself” is not equal to “death” because people have hanged but they did not died. In the court of law they say, “you will be hanged by the neck until pronounced dead”. So what is big issue about “hanging oneself to death”. There is no vernacular equivalent of this express: anazipaya mpaka imfa; aliikulika mpaka imfwa. That is why alike Chinua Achebe because he revolutionalised English.
Good day. For all those blaming my little sister, it is only when you have had an almost-death experience when you can understand what people go through in life. Most of you should actually examine yourselves. You represent a society which can’t face the challenges but instead it is ready to blame the victim as a scapegoat for its shortfall, and sickness! I am very sure and convinced that she is in the safe hands of her Creator. Unless your has not human heart! But with what have in the Bible, oh! Jesus would have been more understanding than a number of you chaps!!
