MUSOKOTWANE Says ” SATA Should TONE-DOWN His Mouth”

Former Finance and National Planning Minister in the Rupiah Banda government Situmbeko Musokotwane has urged Republican President Michael Sata to tone down.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm, Dr. Musokotwane who is also Liuwa MMD Member of Parliament says the recent remarks attributed to President Sata in the media are not suitable for a head of state.

Dr. Musokotwane referred to a recent statement in which President Sata labeled former Republican Vice President George Kunda as a dullest lawyer in Africa for his claims that Dr Guy Scott does not qualify to hold the office of vice president.

He explains that such public utterances against perceived enemies will judge President Sata harshly and further calls on him to tone down.

And Dr. Musokotwane has charged that the poor performance of the Kwacha against major currencies is an indication that Zambia is paying the price for government’s failure to provide confidence in the country’s economy.
He says if not quickly addressed, the trend is likely to cause disparities in the country’s economy where imports will be much more expensive than exports.

    @Mungoma
    ‘you jail them’ – This mentality is what is wrong Mungoma. Maybe you are in so much love with the PF govt, let me pick on Mwanawasa govt. Mwanawasa made a mistake to take the whole govt system to court because at the end of the day court cases were either mere academic or predetermined and very costly. The wealth that Chiluba is perceived to have stolen together with Sata is not returned.
    If you look at these corruption issues out of partisan politics I would make sense to you. It like saying an HIV patient must suffer the consequences of careless life.

    When something is rotten to the core, no amount of money, no status change and indeed no amount of flowers can stop the rot from sipping out. A dimwit is a dimwit and will never transform into an intellectual unless you take him to school!!!!

    KEEN FOLLOWER, when RB was bussy amassing wealth to himself and his family very few of you were able to speak against that, but now you have the guts to tell US “PF” what to and not to do? ndimwe andani?Situmbeko is bitter becoz George Kunda misled them together with RB when he said SATA “WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER BE PRESIDENT” now that he is President all these guys are very bitter. please give us time, we still have up to 2035 to be in office, so pave way for us! What truth can come out of Musokotwanes’ mouth when he recently misled the nation by refusing that no new money was printed when the actual sense it was! is this a person to seek advice from? so ba ba shut up! and read between the lines.
