KABIMBA Tells Off VJ “VJ Has OUTLIVED His Usefullness.He Has a Certificate In International Relations. That Is His Only QUALIFICATION”

VERNON Mwaanga cannot add any value to the PF government or party because he has a bad reputation, says Wynter Kabimba. Responding to Mwaanga’s statement that he was willing to serve in the PF government if called upon, PF secretary general Kabimba said PF would not tolerate the likes of Mwaanga because he had a reputation of a gold digger and came from a party many Zambians had perceived to be corrupt. Kabimba poured scorn on Mwaanga saying the former MMD chief whip was not what he was claiming to be. “He does not have a good reputation, he may not be adding value to the PF where the general perception of people is that he has been helping the MMD rig elections,” Kabimba said.
“There are people as old as VJ that are certainly better than VJ in advancing the development of this country. What VJ has tried is to feed on each and every government that comes into power because he is incapable of looking after himself as an individual.” Kabimba challenged Mwaanga to demonstrate to Zambians if he was able to survive on private business while in the opposition MMD. “He has failed, let him see what he can do in private life and I am challenging him that if he is intelligent as he claims , let him go and organise a private business and live in the opposition for 20 years plus like some of us have done,” teased Kabimba. He said the PF would not tolerate manoeuvers for Mwaanga to solicit a job from President Michael Sata.
“There are others that are better than him that can contribute to this nation. We do not want him to start patronising the PF government. We will ask him when we need him. He does not have to scream to the nation about serving in the PF government,” Kabimba said. “Asking for a job is what he has always done in the past. He is indirectly applying for a job through the media now. The fact that he has served in these other governments does not mean since he served all the governments, he is the only person who is better qualified in all ways. What is VJ’s academic qualification? He has a certificate in international relations. That is his only qualification so what makes him better than everyone else? Mwaanga claims to be an election strategist, MMD lost, why did they lose if he is the best organiser. It shows you there are people around now that are better than him in terms of even organising and strategising elections,” he said.
On claims that he had a corruption-free record, Kabimba doubted Mwaanga’s claims.
“He can’t be the only one clean especially if the government he was serving was corrupt. How can he be the only one who is clean in a government of corrupt people? Chiluba was corrupt but he was clean, RB’s regime was corrupt but he was clean, it can’t be true. He is not talking to small children. The fact that you haven’t been caught as a thief does not mean you are clean.” Vernon Mwaanga recently stated that he was willing to work in the PF government if called upon. Mwaanga who has served in all four past governments said in an interview that he considered national interest above personal ones.

Wow certificate in international relations, you mean am beta off with a degree then employ me since am a degree holder. If i was VJ with the opportunity he had i would have acquired more than a PHD.

Anything associated with VJ stinks with corruption,his survival is corruption based and all his passed appoitments are all corruption based. This man should never be allowed to start rubbing his dirty Shoulders with our newly Genuinly Elected Republican President. Our PF President is too smart to be sweet talked by crooks like VJ.
Tata ba VJ,Just go to hell,we will see how you are going to survive with stollen money or you can get a job at RB’s farm as a protocal farm officer.

Prior to the September 20, 2011 elections I predicted that VJ would soon reach a dead end politically. So it has come to pass. If politics is his lifeline it would be better for him to send SOS to charitable organisations to adopt him as a vulnerable person. He has no chance to sneak into the great PF government. He despised Sata, he despised PF, he engineered rigging elections in favour of MMD.

Most of these old guys have umble education but massive experience and wisdom,. including ba Mdala ba KK. The world is the biggest classroom and a person is able to acquire immense knowlege in various ways without necessarily being in a formal learning institution. However, we are used to respecting those who have seen more chalk in class and have a paper to show how long they have been studying. VJ may have just a certificate to his name but you cannot take away his caliber of understanding and articulating issues, be it political or otherwise. His English is excellent and his disposition is simply adorable. Yes he may be percieved to have done some wrongs, but he is only human, he cannot be perfect. All of us we have some weakness in some areas. And Iam not saying VJ should be given a job, but that he should be respected.

@ Cholembedwa, yes VJ is a maestro of his own kind. Some say he is an effective administrator. He is one politician I used to admire. However, I think his time is up. He needs to know that by himself. And clever politicians tell when their time is up. Failure to judge by themselves exposes them to ridicule. As such, the failure by VJ to recognise that his time has been up reduces several cubits of his stature. In short, he is a F.O.O.L! As for academic prowess, its not a yardstick to measure one’s wisdom

A Cholembedwa, please give us a break. VJ was at very young age sent by Kaunda to represent Zambia, what did he come back with! I list of women he …. Please let him go and rest. His friends Ali Hasan Mwinyi in the same position came back with a PhD. The certificate things is a mockery to Zambia, in fact. Awe a VJ mwasila. Siyani bena ba gwile nchito.

While I am a not a big fan of recycled politicians and individuals like VJ who have served before with questionable reputations, I think some of the reasons Kabimba is using to bash VJ are practically shooting in the PFs governments foot. There are a lot of people currently serving in the PF government with humble (respectful way of saying none!) education, including all the way to the flag pole. Additionally, bashing VJ that he comes from a party that is percieved to be corrupt when MCS has appointed opposition party ministers from the same corrupt party seems contradictory.

Mwilabikako sana amano ku ma qualifications. VJ despite having only a certificate has published more books that you university holders and he is more succesful in both politics and business. That just shows you that papers dont determine your future. You determine your own future. Iam not for VJ begging for jobs but I think the man has succeded where many have failed

Have respect to Mr Kabimba. This is what other political parties failed to tell VJ. He is a finished good not good to buy. VJ can remain on the shelves for a long time even at cheap price and no one can buy him out.

Nice one Wynter, infact you should have hit him more. VJ is an embarassment to Tongas and Zambians as a whole. In Choma, where he comes from, people have passed a death sentence by stoning on him should he appear before the public without protection, like he used to with RB and another fool called Daniel Munkombwe. What a disgrace. We should actually have a law where vote rigging should be a treason offence.

i read all these post and i realise that zambians are as foolish as ever and it will take the next generation to wisen up,you forget that,like VJ,Sata also saved in unip,mmd the two are friends no matter what rubbish you write vj will get the job.the same government pf is comprised with over the hill former unip and mmd cadres even your so called president is in that category is it just me or are zambians living in a fantasy world to escape from the true reality please wake up
