THANDIWE Banda Questioned, RB Says “Sata Is Being Told LIES”

Former First lady Thandiwe Banda this morning appeared before the combined investigative team of officers for questioning at the Zambia police headquarters in Lusaka.

QFM News reports that the former first lady who after the interrogations left the Police headquarters incognito was accompanied for questioning which lasted about an hour by lawyers Sakwiba Sikota and Professor Patrick Mvunga.

And when asked by reporters on how the interrogations for the former first lady went both Professor Mvunga and Mr Sikota declined to comment.

Mrs. Banda had been summoned by a joint team of government investigative officers in connection with the Mpundu Trust Account and allegations of money laundering.

Meanwhile, embattled former President Rupiah Banda has told journalists that people that are lying to President Michael Sata that his son Henry is evading the police dragnet will be dealt with once the head of state discovers the truth.

Rupiah Banda who earlier addressed MMD cadres that had gathered outside the former task force offices where the first lady was expected before the venue for her questioning was later changed said Henry has not been communicated to officially by the police. The former head of state said his family has nothing to fear and would co-operate with the law enforcement agencies whenever called. And Mr. Banda has also called on all the MMD members to remain united and has pledged his support to the former ruling party saying he will remain a loyal member.

Mr. Banda has also urged the PF government to concentrate on developing the country as it had promised during the campaign period. The former head of state says he is proud of the many successes that his government scored and has since called for unity in the country to continue.

any normal human being would applaud Thandiwe for her bravery and courage to face those security personnel. Now if I may ask my fellow Zambians, what is wrong with Henry reporting to these same security officers and do what they are asking for? to hear RB still defending this kind of wrong act makes me wonder if he truly has morals. Has Thandiwe been arrested? Or has she Become a different person? or has Mr. Banda divorced her? certainly not! this is what we are as PF calling for the removal of RBs Immunity so that he can answer for himself the allegations that have been leveled against him period. is this surely an issue that some people even their BP has shot up? to say the least, Rb would do this nation a big favor by clearing his name and that of his sons by doing the correct thing and not hide in calling people silly!

Pr 28:12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory, but when the wicked prevail, people go into hiding.
Pr 28:15 Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people.
Pr 28:28 When the wicked prevail, people go into hiding; but when they perish, the righteous increase.
Pr 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan.
Pr 29:7 The righteous know the rights of the poor; the wicked have no such understanding.
Pr 29:12 If a ruler listens to falsehood, all his officials will be wicked.
Pr 29:16 When the wicked are in authority, transgression increases, but the righteous will look upon their downfall.
Pr 29:27 The unjust are an abomination to the righteous, but the upright are an abomination to the wicked.
Ec 3:17 I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for he has appointed a time for every matter, and for every work.
Ec 7:15 In my vain life I have seen everything; there are righteous people who perish in their righteousness, and there are wicked people who prolong their life in their evil-doing.
