Mutati attributes misunderstandings in MMD to election loss
MMD presidential aspiring candidate Felix Mutati says the misunderstandings in the MMD members are as a result of the hurt of loosing the last year’s general elections.
Mr. Mutati says that most party members are still having problems trying to align with the new party’s philosophy and policy of moving forward following its exit from power after it lost to the current ruling PF government.
Mr. Mutati notes that however the few misunderstandings in the party are part of the healing process for the party members.He adds that once the party recovers and ushers in a new leader at the forthcoming convention, the MMD party will get on track and continue playing its part in the country’s political field.Mr.
Mutati was speaking to QFM in an interview.And Mr. Mutati says his party will use the parliamentary platform to ensure that the draft constitution that the technical committee will produce contain the aspirations of the Zambian people.

the MMD shud get their act together, the people of Zambia need as powerful an opposition as possibo so that the PF can be put under pressure, they are making to many mistakes, they are making experiments with our country and believe me they will destroy it, they are busy undertaking usless projects instead of doing serious things, E.g they want to spend 1 trillion on making new currency instead of using that money to develop UNZA which is in a poor state. dis is what yu get for electing Co boys in govt

Interesting how narrow minded some pipo can be!!Its not about MMD, its about checks and balnces. The death of MMD will not be good for Zambia if MMD is the only party that can offer credible opposition to the PF. Unfortunately, as things stand, that is the situation. UPND is too geographically confined and tribally polarised to offer credible checks.
I find it amusing when Kaponyas and misfits claim to be rulling. They make no single decision, other than for themselves to go to the toilet but tell others to shut up because they are ruling, who the hell are you ruling!

Whenever I read some comments on matters such as this I feel as though I am dealing with pre-independence minds. The weakness we have of listening to divergent views without flying off the handle is actually the very reason we accept mediocrity until we are buried up to the neck. This is one of the few countries where colonially laid rail has been ripped out, roads that had tar have been graded to look like pre-independence infrastructure, and all people are doing is supporting politics and politicians. Wait until you taste austerity again – this time you will never rise!!!
