UPND Challenges SATA
The United Party for National Development (UPND) has challenged President Michael Sata to provide evidence that the opposition political party is being led by a thief.
UPND Secretary General Winston Chibwe has told QFM News that it has become a trend for President Sata to raise unsubstantiated accusations against his political opponents.
He wonders why the head of State has not provided evidence to law enforcement agencies for them to follow up his allegations.
Mr. Chibwe observes that it is not right for the president to use his immunity to continue attacking his political rivals.
He says President Sata is trying to be populist on lies and has since advised him to stop injuring innocent people with unsubstantiated allegations.
On Monday during the youth day celebrations President Sata charged that the UPND and MMD were being led by thieves.
Meanwhile Mr. Chibwe has stated that the UPND will not be influenced by any political party in parliament but will instead make independent decisions.
He says the UPND will support issues in parliament that will benefit the people of Zambia adding that it is for this reason that the party has decided to support the reinstatement of the abuse of authority of office clause in the Anti- Corruption Commission Act.

UPND you are playing in the cobra’s hands. Mr. Sata is diverting you from important national issues which he has failed to handle. UPND, you started with fire but you have lost the flame. 2011 is gone eyes now should be on 2016. Do not be responding to everything the PF says. What UPND need is to refocus its strategy to win 2016 tripatite elections. Go national, sell the party manifesto, recruit more members country wide. Mr. Sata has provided fodder for UPND to claim national character by his numerous blunders. Instead of capitalising on this you have joind PF is waffling and fluffing. Mr. Sata will never win 2016 unless he changes his approach and strategy in service delivery to the Zambians

why should we always be tribal oriented…. come on people lets face the fact here, HH will be better than SATA and it will be very soon when you people turn to him for help.The PF came with there own package of problems in which we see the increasing of things like defilement cases,the homosexual thing and the strikes which can be dangerous.PF is a good party but we have to be careful with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Tonga shall never rule zambia till they treat every non tonga the same way they treat their Tonga brothers. Please think bwana and you will realise that reporting on GBV and other abuses is deliberate by the media so as top create awareness and encourage many abused people to come in the open without fear or being ashamed. He abuses tax payers money and fires anyone who gets in his way. He and Mr Nzoya (the deputy at the high commission here in Ottawa) have been stealing money to buy luxury cars for them selves in Ottawa;they travel around the globe for personal reasons then finance them through the mission.
They fired Mr Tembo because he was against this and sent him back to Zambia. they also have an office slut ( carolina rodriguez ) working for them and she abuses the Zambian mission’s money by offering her physical body to diplomats.
this is such a shame; abusing hard earned tax payers money

The President can still be sued if he commits an offence OUTSIDE his duties as President. He is not immune from prosecution on every case. Someone should test this at law.
