HH Says SATA Should Apologise To The People Of W/Province For Betraying Them

Hakainde

United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema says the Patriotic Front Government should take responsibility of the turn of events in Western Province were seven districts have resolved to breakaway from the rest of Zambia.

Mr. Hichilema says there is clearly no doubt that there is a problem in the province which he says was allowed to degenerate by the PF’s perceived poor leadership.

In an exclusive telephone interview with QFM, Mr. Hakainde says President Michael Sata and his government should learn a lesson that deception does solve problems but only worsens the situation.

He however states that it is not too late for the PF Government to find an amicable solution to the problem.

The UPND leader has advised President Sata to come out in the open and apologize to the people of western province for betraying them over the Barotseland Agreement.

Mr. Hichilema says what the government needs to do after apologizing, is to engage in dialogue with leaders of the Barotseland and all well meaning political leaders in seeking a resolution on the matter.

He has however stated that Zambia should continue to be a unitary state while leaders in government should also ensure that development is spread to all parts of the country to avoid divisions.

There are three ways to treat an agreement

    1.) Abrogate it
    2.) Honour it
    3.) Renegotiate its terms

    Which will it be?

imwe bantu lets just get organised, go out on the streets and ask for the resignation of mr. sata as president or ask him to hold to his promises. this is the next step for zambian democracy,we should show these politicians that winning the elections does not mean that they are home and dry. we can still get them out of state house. impeach the president you mps in parliament for his lies.

HH’s analytical and thinking capacity is highly questionable. If he cares to examine the 2011 Presidential election results, he will notice that Banda came first, HH came second, and Sata came third in Western province. In other words, Sata lost Western province even after promising the people there with the restoration of the Barotseland Agreement. Strangely, Banda, who shot, killed, maimed, and detained these people was preferred over Sata! Why should HH expect Sata to apologize to people who rejected him?

HH thinks like a cockroach, no wonder someone was refering to him as nyandule.
Instead of impressing upon the the wayward Ngambela he is busy making noise and blaming the President as though he is the one who signed the agreement. Grow up under 1.
At one point he also said he was gong to honour the BA64 during a campign rally in western province

HH is right for the first time. Our Presido should just be bold enough to tell the Loziz that they were duped again and there shall be NO barotseland ever. There is no room for negotiations with anarchists.

Losings elections too is very painful. It will take time for the wound to heal.

We once had the a president who said “I know where zambia’s wealth is, but I won’t show you until am in state house”. Now we have another president on the scene in the name of Hie Hapu.

Enjoy life because we need comedians on the political scene.HaHa!

I still can’t understand whether people understand what Mr. Sata promised. Even HH does not seem to understand. Restoration of BA does not mean secession, but devolution of power to the Litungu within the boundaries of Zambia and not outside Zambia. What promises can one make to a people if he expects them to leave the country? What will Mr. Sata do for western province after secession?

The ****** president promised the people of barotseland that he was going to restore the agreement within 90days and that he was also Linyungandambo. That came from his mouth. People of barotseland are just following his words. arrest him also for purpoting to be a member of Linyungandambo.

This is a very serious issue and it requires every well meaning Zambian’s involvement. It’s not for the PF government alone, it also affects other Political parties. If Zambia is divided today which country are these politicians going to govern? Because every tribe would want to be independent hence chaos.

HH is right on this one! They say a man is worth his words… this speaks volumes about Sata. I prefered him to win but boy do i regret! He’s jus a man full of lies.. Not only over the BA but generally everytime he speaks it’s either to lie or to quash every promise he made. What a waste

mr hichilema pliz take time to understand this issue and its implications.so what if sata apologises?is there a solution in apologising?
come on young man state your position clearly on the issue rather than just exposing your hate you have for sata.
are you for the idea that westerners be granted independence ?if yes give us reasons .
what advice do you have for the BNC ,tell us we want to know and move forward.do not mislead us. you want we the westerners to lag behind and to continue wallowing in poverty.
the problems in western are not caused by sata but by a few selfish individuals who are now fearing that when sata solves our problems they will be exposed.

HH has too much IDLE time. His brain now is even degenerating into a small heep of shit floating on brain water.

    1. Sata did not at any time promise sesession. He promised to look at the restoration of the 1964 agreement. In that agreement there is no sesession.

    2. Sata promised what ever he promised if the pipo there voted for him. Did they honor that agreement? NO! he was third in terms of votes. There only two MPs from the region.

    3. Such a big issue cannot be brought to the table in such a short time. There are other pressing issues in the nation that came first.

    4. Sata will not apologise for anything because he is still working on the process of decentralisation for the nation. Not just for Western province.

    5. HH claim that the situation has degenerated because of PF is upside down thinking. In anycase, the coming to power of the PF has engaged everyone and the government will speak to all the pipo in the percieved Barotseland including the Nkoyas.

HH, your current stance is an inch away from treason. Be careful young man.
